This is the fifth book in the Seaside summer series and they are so much fun to read, they are easy to pick up and put down, and you can read them as a stand alone book or can start at the beginning and read them all......which is what I did.

This book focuses on Sky and Sawyer.
Sky is a easygoing tattooist, Sawyer is a boxer who is trying to help his parents, he is also the most romantic boxer I think I have ever read about. In the ring he is determined and focused and out he is sweet, caring and would make your heart melt his words certainly made mine melt.

They have a chance meet one night when Swayer wanted a tattoo and like they say the rest developed from there. It is not all love and romance they each have an internal struggle to work out....but you will have to read the book to find out what that is and how it all works out.

Melissa Foster has certainly done it again with this amazing read. So if you would like to read someone who women are strong and men who know what a women deserves I love this series. Give it a go.

The Seaside series books are my favourite. Usually, Melissa Foster's books are romances with a recurring spirit in acceptance, family, friendship and are sexy as you can feel. This particular book the characters are at their best, the main couple (Sky and Sawyer) are lovely and even though have just met and are very young try to communicate with each other in a very sweet way. The fact that Sawyer is a boxing fighter and is a poet (musician) just add another shade in this character that falls in love with a tatoo artist with a good nature. I just love the part of the friendship of the Seaside girls the fact that they stand for each other, reminds me my own friends and how important is to always keep the connection. Great book and looking forward to the next one.

Seaside Nights is a part of Melissa Foster's Love in Bloom Series. It can be read as a stand alone as well as a part of the series. Even though it is book 25 in the series, Melissa Foster never ceases to amaze me with her ingenuity and ability to develop new concepts. I always love the way she is able to develop her story lines so that they intricately weave among the other books in the series, yet also tell a story of their own.

Seaside Nights is Sky Lacroux and Sawyer Bass' story. If you are a fan of Melissa Foster, you will have met Sky in the other Seaside Summer books, as she is Pete Lacroux's little sister. Sky came home to help with her father and to be with her family. She is an amazing artist and has decided to open her own tattoo shop, Inky Skies. She loves to read and is never far from her favorite book of poetry. The last person she expects to see walk into her shop is Sawyer Bass, the performer she had an instant connection with from across the room.

Sawyer Bass is dedicated to his family and friends almost to a fault.He is a professional boxer and provider for his family. In an attempt to escape the reality of his life, he performs at a local bar one of his songs about his father. When he sees Sky, even from across the room, he feels an instant connection. He is completely surprised to find the woman who has not been far from his thoughts, in the tattoo shop. But will he have room for her with his family and career taking so much of his focus?

Melissa Foster has a compelling way of drawing you in from the start and not letting go. She writes such great chemistry and connections between her characters, you will instantly fall in love with them. There were many times I laughed as well as cried while reading this book. Sometimes I laughed so hard I cried. I definitely can't wait to see what she has in store for us next!

I've said it before, I don't know how Melissa Foster does it, she keeps gracing us with these fabulous stories, you'd think she would run out of story lines, but oh no, not at all and each book is as fresh and exciting as the last, never for one moment getting bored.
It all started with the Snow Sisters and some 20 + book's on and still going strong, it's been a wonderful journey.
Seaside Nights told the story of Sky and Sawyer and yet again we are totally captivated from the very beginning, we are already familiar with Sky because she featured in her brother Pete Lacroux s story and very quickly became part of everything Seaside..!!
To say this story is beautiful and endearing is an understatement, the way it's portrayed and worded is what we have cone to expect from this author.
With her own Tattoo parlour Inky Skies, she's feeling pretty good about herself but with most of her friends now married she's starting to feel a little lonely, but that's all about to change.
As she's sitting in a Restaurant/Bar with her Friends Sky is completely unaware of Sawyer Bass, she decides to get her book of poems out, which is nothing out of the ordinary, as soon as she hears his beautiful voice it stops her in her tracks and as she looks up he looks at her.
When Sawyer comes in to Inky Skies for a tattoo the next day he's completely taken by surprise, not expecting to see Sky, the girl he couldn't forget about from the night before and from then on we witnessed the start of a beautiful relationship.
Sky and Sawyer are so well suited they completely get each other, Sawyer Plays the guitar, writes songs and like Sky loves poetry so when he reveals to Sky that he is a Professional Boxer she is shocked and finds it hard to comprehend but after explaining the situation about his Father's illness and why he needs to do this last big fight it takes her a while but she tries to support him but his love of Boxing does put a strain on their relationship at times.
Throughout their story there are a lot of touching and emotional moments the way Sawyer interacts with his parents is one thing and it is so apparent how torn he is with doing the right thing now that he has Sky in his life.
Seaside Nights is a beautiful story there's a lot of worry and concern for Sawyer you really feel it and for Sky too, we were hoping and praying that Sawyer will do the right thing, we got our wish and with a beautiful epilogue things couldn't have worked out better.
We had all the crew there to help out which was great and even though we've been set up ready for Lizzie's and Blue's story we know there's so much more bubbling under the surface, it's absolutely brilliant.
