The relationship between Sky and Sawyer builds fast, and their chemistry together is not something either of them is able to resist. In truth, they’re a lot a like inside, and they see that compatibility almost immediately upon spending time together. But while it may sound too quick on paper, the very real feelings between them made it feel more natural than breathing. Without giving away the end, I’ll say that their journey together is not at all what I expected and absolutely everything I love about romance. There’s friendship and lust, something bigger than love, and throwing caution to the wind despite the differences they have on the surface. I soaked up every page of their thoughts and feelings, eagerly turning the pages for just a little more right up to the end. It’s no secret that I love Melissa Foster’s stories, her unique characters, and her ability to turn what should be just another romance into something I just can’t put down, but I think this one’s going straight to my all-time favorites list. ***FicCentral received this book from Tasty Book Tours for free in exchange for an honest review.

I had the pleasure of listening to the audiobook of Seaside Nights by Melissa Foster. I absolutely loved listening to their story. It had everything and more. It had love, family, depthness, and soul reaching. B.J. Harrison was the narrator and he does a fantastic job telling their story. Sky Lacroux is back home to help her father and she is a great artist and has decided to open her own tattoo shop. Sawyer Bass is a boxer, song writer and singer. Sky wants someone soulful and that's exactly what Sawyer is. They first meet where Sawyer is singing one of his songs. Sky was mesmerized. Sawyer is helping his family earn income as a boxer to help his ailing father. They have a lot in common and as they spend more time together they get one another. And it doesn't hurt that their chemistry is amazing. I loved their story so much.

Melissa always write stories that appeal to the heart. Seaside Nights is a wonderful example. Sky and Sawyer are each grapling with events that send them reeling. Sky is dealing with a shocking tragedy within and her family and the repurcussions have thrown her world of course. Sawyer is dealing with the prospect of losing an end to the career he loves and taking care of a sick parent who health is rapidly declining. His escape from the craziness in his life is to create. His art of choice is music and provides an outlet for his inner turmoil. Sky is an artist as well, a tattoo artist. She enjoys expressing herself through her designs. Seaside Nights is about making difficult choices on a journey of hope, healing and love. Trusting the heart despite personal struggles can open all types of opportunities. Sky and Sawyer had to figure that out for themselves and for me that is what made the story all the more special. I received an ARC of Seaside Nights in exchange for an honest review.
