Logan is an ex Navy seal who is now working as a PI but when he is in a bar that Stella is working at he has so much trouble focusing he only has eyes for her.
But Stella has a past and she can not stop looking over her shoulder knowing he can turn up at anytime he has before so, she is scared.
Logan makes all that go away but can she trust him.

Was a great read I liked it but I was not overly in love with it. I could not put it down. Great start to the series.

What can I say, Melissa Foster, your talents are amazing!!
Being an avid fan of Melissa's work I have to admit I wasn't sure whether this was going to work. But I've got to say it's another brilliant book, expertly written, Well done MF!! I awoke at 3am this morning to see that my pre ordered copy had been delivered, so as sleep evaded me I started to read Logan and Stormy's story.

Logan Wild, well what can I say, everyone's ideal protector. After serving his country Logan had began his own PI business and was out on a case saving a single parent with a 3 year old son. Be known to him at the same time his parent's house was being broken into which left his father dead and his mother blind. Logan was carrying so much guilt around for not being at his parents house on that fateful evening. And it made matters worse that the police didn't have enough evidence to jail the culprit that did it as his mother couldn't point him out in an ID parade. Logan took matters into his own hands and hunted the guy down and killed him. Only he told no-one about what he had done, especially not his mum.

Enter Stormy, aka Stella. A bar tender at his friend's Dylan's bar with a scary past. Stormy was as tough and foulmouthed as some of the punters that came and got drunk in the pub, she could surely hold her own. The night that Logan met Stormy in the pub however, after seeing her fend of the advances of plenty drunken punters there was one punter that wouldn't take no for an answer and when Stormy nipped to the rest room the punter, Mike, followed her. Logan picked up on the movements of Mike and luckily for Stormy, her knight in shining armour saved her from a possible rape ordeal. Just what was Stormy's story?? Dylan her boss and long time friend of Logan, wouldn't give up anything about her only that she had had a bad experience with an ex-boyfriend.

Logan took it that Stormy needed protecting and he would be the one to be there for her, what he didn't count on was falling in love with her!. It turned out that Stormy was running from a life that nearly left her dead, her ex boyfriend, Kutchner was currently serving time in prison but was due to be released in 4 days time. Before his sentence started Stormy had tried to leave him and used that fact that she knew he was running a drug ring as leverance to get away. It didn't work and Kutchner being the violent, possessive person he was stabbed Stormy twice and left her for dead. From that day she had been running away from the man and the life he had dragged her into.

Logan was falling hard for the bar tender and promised he would take care of her, it took a while to gain Stormy's trust but being a PI he had ways of finding out about what and who she was so scared of. He had just a couple of days to find and dish the dirty to the police about Kutchners drug ring in order for him to be kept behind bars for years to come, meaning Stormy could go back to being the girl she thought she'd never be able to be again and return to her home town and spend time with her mother. Logan pulled all the stops out and without spoiling the full story gave Stormy her life back, a life which included him.

A fast paced, hard core love story that is full of surprises. A book that every Fosterette needs to give a chance to, don't make a decision after reading the first few pages. This is a new side to Melissa Foster that we are seeing and oh boy!! does she really pull it off. A superb authoress that seems to be able to write anything from Romance, Suspense and now what happens after dark. Congratulations Melissa Foster, and well done on another fantastic story.
